Wilhelm Antes born abt. 1713 in Germany came to America on the ship named "Friendship" from Rotterdam to Philidelphia, Pennslyvania.  The ship arrived 12 Oct. 1741.    Wilhelm's children are:

GEORGE ANDIS married Ida Bell Newman.  Ida was born abt. 1869 Indiana and died 1959 Morristown, Ind.  Buried with George in Asbury Cemetery-Morristown, Indiana.  They were married 1 Aug. 1891 Hancock Co., Indiana.  I am still searching for accurate dates on their children so please bare with me (27 Sep. 2008)  Here is what I do have:

EARL ANDIS marrried Nelli Virginia Magee.  Nellie was born 18 Jan. 1897 Carthage, Ind and died 6 Jan. 1999.  She is burried next to Earl in Arlington Cemetery and is the daughter of George Magee and Mary/Molly Blessinger.  Earl gained the nickname "Dynamite" trying to blow up tree stumps to help clear land in Carthage and suffered an injury.  Earl and Nellie had 8 children.  The deceased children are :
